O Jesus, Thou Art Standing is sung here to the tune St. Hilda, by Justin H. Knecht, 1799, edward Husband, 1871. The words are by William Walsham How, 1867. This four-part setting is from The Army and Navy Hymnal of 1920, compiled for worship in the United States Army and Navy; the closing Amen is left off.

Who Knecht was
German composer and organist who worked in Biberach. He wrote a symphony describing nature that may have inspired Beethoven's Pastoral. He also wrote hymn tunes.
